What is a Cluster?
A Cluster come in action when lot of computing power is needed. Clusters can also
be used to share CPU power between Servers in a network. For instance, if you got
a Mailserver, Webserver and Fileserver running and one of those needs more CPU power
they can share their MHz together to have more complex operations done together.
This is especially usefull if the Fileserver is bored most of the time and the Mailserver
needs more power to compute SPAM scores for instance.
Requirement: At least a Gigabit network connection and a Linux Operating System.
Do i need one?
Depends, if you plan to safe on resources and still want to have enough power to fulfill
whatever job you want to do or you can't estimate the computing power necessary for your
upcoming plans, then you need a cluster.
